Get lists of families with similar issues and make personal phone calls offering information. You will probably collect new information as well.

Create a staffed "help line", share the work by assigning shifts.

Diamond Hunt

People hunt for "diamonds" worth donated goods and services.

Distribute information while people socialize.

Picnics at The Beach

Invite all foster / adoptive families and caseworkers.

Bring a dish to pass.

Ask local business to donate beverages.

Professional Contacts

Canvas professionals such as doctors and guidance counselors for information.

Share knowledge of resources so they can post it or share it with their patients.

Training Events

Ask to be on MAPPS / New Parent training panel to provide information about group and community services.

Business Cards

Make up business cards with contacts for people to call when problems arise.

Distribute them to professional offices, doctors, counselors, etc..

Haircuts

Sponsor a free haircut day for foster families.

Educate hairdressers to spread the word.

Day or evening programs for kids to provide parents with a break.

Ask teens and professionals to help staff.

Distribute lists of resources when kids are dropped off or picked up.
