Bill Masteroleo, formerly an attorney with Neighborhood Legal Services in Buffalo, volunteers his time to maintain a data base of Title 18 regulations as current as possible. The regulations are posted on the Western New York Law Center website with numerous other legal resources including NYS Office of Children and Family Services administrative directives and informational letters.

Instructions for use of nfoweb library database:

  • When you arrive at the nfoweb site use "next page" button (bottom left) to find and select the section of the regulations you desire
  • A search feature is provided at the bottom of each page. Use the next and back buttons on the bottom right hand side to page through search results.
  • A table of contents at the top of the page provides an outline of each page as you view it. The table of contents may be used as a navigation tool.
  • The table of content tool (bottom center) provides a table of contents for the entire database with links to the appropriate section.
  • Click here to view a list of topics in Sections 421 through 451 of the regulations which are particularly relevant for foster and/or adoptive parents.
  • The Center for Family Representation,Inc. has created a helpful annotated outline of NYSCCC Title 18 Regulations
